How You Can Use Sleep to Help You Grow Taller

How You Can Use Sleep to Help You Grow Taller-Questions For

Sleep is an requisite for us to function properly. There are many rewards to having a good nights sleep but on that isn't heard about it the fact that it can help you grow taller. Sleeping helps growth, either it's the growth of muscle or bones.

Questions For

The hypothesize many people may not believe that sleep helps you grow taller is that they sleep in a wrong posture. You spend a third of your life sleeping and if you are curled in a ball how can you expect to grow? To see results from sleeping you need to adapt the accurate sleeping posture.

A favourite for people is to sleep on their stomachs...Wrong! This won't help you grow at all. Here are some postures that are great for getting taller:

  • Lying on your side with knees bent and a pillow in in the middle of the knees - By using this posture you counteract a sway back and sell out back pain (the pillow is just for support so you don't twist your spine and ruin your posture)
  • Lying on your back with your knees bent with pillow under knees - The same science goes for this but you can place the pillow in a estimate of places like under your hips, neck and the arch in your back.

You can speed up the growth of your spine by doing straightforward posture exercises (touching your toes and yoga stretches such as the cobra and t he cat) and changing small day-to-day tasks such as sitting straight and not carrying a heavy load in your bag.

You may also think buying a new mattress, not one that is too soft (your back will sink too far in) and one too firm will cause an uneven weight spread.

Ethics of Outsourcing

Ethics of Outsourcing-Practice

Many times, firm organizations encounter the dilemma of ethical decision making. "If a Cio says 'I've never faced an ethical issue', they're not living in the real world," says Larry Ponemon, chairman and founder of the Ponemon Institute, a security and privacy investigate think tank based in Arizona.

Practice

Though firm relationships are more economic in nature, their moral and ethical dimensions have an equal impact on profitability. When it comes to the ethics of outsourcing, matters come to be more complicated, as parities involved are continents away. A judicious choice between the right and the wrong man to do firm with will determine the future of your outsourcing venture.
Why is it prominent to do firm with organizations that are ethical?

Ethical yielding presents a strong collective image and upholds the integrity and character of an organization. Whether personal or professional, not many of us will want to associate with unethical individuals. It makes a lot more sense to do firm with ethical organizations as it has a direct influence on the thorough functioning of a business.

When things go wrong!

This is the acid test. The way your outsourcing partner reacts while a urgency is the best indicator of Whether it is ethical or unethical. When there is mutual trust and responsibility towards each other, a urgency management mechanism will automatically evolve. Ethics creates a space for itself and in ensuring the level running of businesses.

Legal aspects

Legal perceptions may differ from one nation to the other and ambiguity could arise when a dispute occurs, leaving both parties in a fix. The connection becomes easier when the parties have a legal, moral and ethical promulgation to comply with the agreement, with due respect to international law.

Information Security

The core concern of outsourcing ethics is confidential information security. Privacy and security fall under the 'no compromise zone'. Sujoy Chohan, a counselor at It investigate specialists, Gartner Company, says, "If there is any industry which is investing in security tremendously, it is the offshore industry, Whether it is India or elsewhere".

Chief Privacy Officers are highly concerned about allowable information security practices. If your outsourcing partner does not have adequate information security measures, it might be wise to stay clear of them.

How does an outsourcer identify organizations which are doing ethical business?

Everyone claims to be ethical. Though a clear definition of the parameters for identifying organizations with ethical conscience will be a difficulty, some factors are vivid.

Vendor reliability

It is nothing but trust that makes man want to outsource. Weigh the dependability and reliability of the organizations to which you want to outsource.

A clear definition and practice of the ethical rules and privacy policies of the club like non-disclosure of trade secrets, secrecy and non-disclosure contracts with staff, third party assistance providers and visitors is a prerequisite. This will reassure the outsourcer that it is safe to do firm with a partner who is miles away.
Employee Credibility

Information security will largely depend on the population who deal with the information. Organizations that implement tough employee credibility measures have a direct implication on its outsourcing ethics.

Communication

Clear and open communication channels are another sign of an ethical company. When a scheme does not go the right way, an ethical partner will always keep you informed of the problem and possible solutions and time needed.

Inquiry

A proper enquiry should be made about the club and their nature of work management. Talking to the employees and references will give a clear idea about the pro approach of an organization. Check if the following requirements are met by your outsourcing partner:

oProper information security systems

oAppropriate quality certifications such as Iso 9000 or Sei Cmm

oAppropriate programs to safe the trade secrets of its clients, partners and their customers

oInfrastructure

oTraining and upgrading the security skills and awareness of employees.

oSafety of electronic data storage

oPresence of a whistleblower

oProper arrangement with third party assistance providers

How does being ethical help in reducing the risks of offshore outsourcing?

You can always find companies that offer services at very low costs. An ethical concern might seem to be a costlier choice. However, the price difference could be deceptive as the difference will only be in the preliminary cost. In the long run, the thorough cost will prove to be much lower when you are working with an ethical partner.

Ethical vs. Unethical partnership

Unethical partnership:

oThe cost of maintaining the scheme and the connection will be high

oLack of trust

oStrained relationship

oNon disclosure of facts

oLack of transparency

Ethical Partnership:

oReduced costs

oReduced risk

oCommon focus

oRelationship equilibrium

oKnowing the risks and managing them together

oProper management systems

Client responsibilities

Before manufacture an outsourcing decision, the outsourcer should also be clear about the responsibilities that he should share. This will help in construction a healthy connection base.

owillingness to discuss

omanage expectations

olast agreed document should be the basis

obuild flexibility to contracts

oopenness to intermediate scope and price review

Make sure that all the loop holes which can disrupt the outsourcing process are dealt with. The benefits of outsourcing are sure to show up with safe outsourcing practices.

America's Finest President

Translated:e

I had this conversation with my grandfather whom I called dearly Papa:

When I was seven years old, I asked my grandfather: "Papa, who is that white man in that portrait?"

My grandfather responded: "He is Abraham Lincoln. He freed the black slaves in the United States of America."

Then, I looked at the portrait next to the one of Abraham Lincoln and I asked my grandfather: Who are these two men together in that portrait?

My grandfather responded: The black man is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He worked for possession of black population in the U.S. With the white man named _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.

Hi, my name is Jose! That was the first English sentence I learned when I first came to the United States of America from Honduras, a Five-Star country located in Latin America. I remember very cleared being on the Airplane flight, struggling to learn English by reading my English-learning book entitled "Ingles Sin Barreras." It is studying material for Hispanics to learn English with an proper method, a formula that was favorable to use at home and easy to comprehend. "Hi, my name is____" and I filled out the blank space with "Jos". I wanted to say this sentence to the person sitting next to me on the plane... But I felt insecure, not sure that I would speak clearly. I was afraid of that person's reaction to my lack of English proficiency.

I established a lot of negativity in my mind and thinking barriers by saying to myself: What if this person ignores me? What if this person doesn't understand me? Then, I said to myself: The clarification to this is practice. I decided to practice "Hi, my name is Jos" over and over again; it may seem easy to you, but if you've tried studying a foreign language, you may appreciate the strangeness of beginnings. When I saw that the Airplane was about to arrive at the Lax International Airport, knowing that I had been practicing in my mind my first English sentence, I gathered the Bold Commitment to ultimately say to the person sitting next to me: Hi, my name is Jos!. That Bold Commitment that I learned since I was a child in Honduras from _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.

Today, Monday, February 08, 2010, I am honored and humbled to partake in The Transit Tv Essay Contest to write about the U.S. President that I feel has had the most distinct impact on the country, and that happens to be according to my point of view one of The Two America's Finest Presidents, along with Abraham Lincoln, because of his Bold Commitment to make peace in the United States of America and the world. I am writing this essay with my petite English, but the most leading thing is that it is truly from the lowest of my heart.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts. His health during his childhood all the way to his adulthood was never well, but his love for America and the world kept him going to keep America's Promise alive. America's Promise is deeply rooted in The American Dream that started back in 1776 when The Founding Fathers wrote the declaration of Independence that led the Thirteen Colonies declaring independence from Britain. To be more definite and clear, The America's Promise is written in the Constitution of the United States of America but it is needed to be realized worldwide because it is as of today Monday, February 8, 2010 the world's most remarkable promise in human history because it guaranteed powerfully Life, Liberty, and The chase of Happiness for all, which includes everyone from all walks of life regardless of a person's gender, race, political views, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, color of skin, socio-economic status, disability, and anything other trivial difference. We are all one period as E-Pluribus Unum represents in Latin that out of many, we are one according to God.

Yes In God We Trust that all of us together are one family. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ understood that he needed to overcome all obstacles even his personal health and well-being to stand up and do his best to fulfill on The America's Promise with his Bold Commitment defining America The Beautiful. America! America! God shed his grace on thee and made _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ a world hero that even inspired me as a soccer player growing in Honduras, a 5-Star country where I was admired by many along with parents and population of dissimilar ages that they gave me the ambition aspired to be one day the first black President of Honduras for my Bold Commitment that I learned from him.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ suffered the many health health ever along with Malaria, Addison's disease, and continuing back pain but his Bold Commitment kept him firm and loyal to America by serving in the U.S. Armed troops upon his undergraduate vocation at Harvard College where he tried for practically all sports varsity teams but earned a spot on the varsity swim team and resided in John Winthrop House from his sophomore year until his graduation. He first wanted to serve with honor in the U.S. Army but he was rejected due to his pain in his back. He did not give up in serving in the U.S. troops and then he was ultimately proper in the U.S. Navy during World War Ii. America honors those who serve her with deepest love and loyalty.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ inspired me to love America so much that if anything happen to her I will safe her with all my heart. I remember during the 9/11 Terror Attack, I was in Tegucilpalpa, Honduras studying in the National University of Honduras [Universidad National Automona de Honduras (Unah)] as the youngest pupil after being graduated from High School as one of the nation's best honors students and selected to play for the Honduras National Soccer Team under 17. That 9/11 News was terrified for me that I decided powerfully to serve in the U.S. Army to safe America The Beautiful. Out the sudden, the U.S. Embassy in Honduras granted my family a U.S. Permanent Residency sponsored by my aunt, Maria Asteria Manaiza, to come to the U.S. studying from the lessons from my grandfather Jos Hipolito Centeno with Pen Name as Santos Centeno, who a remarkable author of a series of Civil possession Books and history of Blacks in Latin America, I learned that _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ powerfully envisioned with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Civil possession Act of 1964 and Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 before he was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. That is the remarkable contribution that _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ has made for my family that were branch to so much discrimination in Honduras that they needed to come to America fulfill on The American Dream to have a great life for their families.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ inspired me to have a Bold Commitment to learn English using my library card to go the collective library in South Central Los Angeles and study with all my heart the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (Asvab) to enlist in the U.S. Army and I remember that with such humility my English was getting great and great talking to my favorite neighbors in South Central Los Angeles and making my mum proud while setting a great examples for my two younger brothers. I came to America in August of 2002 with my intent to serve in the U.S. Army as a U.S. Army Ranger to bring to justice those responsible for 9/11. I left all things in my country Honduras just come to safe America The Beautiful. Even though I passed the Asvab after being in America for only three months, pass the bodily test, medical test, I was not eligible due to my English. I never gave up that I kept studying English at Los Angeles Southwest College and with my love for America I was able to earn a 4.0 Gpa in all my classes and my Mathematics that I was invited to Harvard University for a the Harvard Summer School with the intent to visit and see if I could join to the Harvard Men's Soccer Team.

I remember that I choose to live in John Winthrop House where _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ used to live as a Harvard undergraduate pupil and in fact I spent most of my time in remembering him in his honor studying in the construction named after him _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ School of Government even though my courses where in Harvard Northwest Science construction taking my Mathematics courses. However, my heart was and always been to come to Ucla because that is my dream school since I was a 10 year-old soccer player. I remember writing to Ms. Oprah Winfrey that the influence of The Civil possession Act of 1964 is so impactful and influential in television that "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" along with "The Bill Cosby Show" was our family's favorite television sitcom show because they were the only ones where black population were not playing stereotypical roles. My two younger brothers, Jesse (named in honor of Reverend Jesse Jackson) and Luther (named in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., used to fight with me for Ashley Banks (character played by Tatyana Ali), and Jesse used to say:

"Ashley es mi novia."
Luego Luther deca, "No, Ashley es mi novia."
Luego yo deca, "No, Ashley es mi novia-punto."

Luego Jesse y Luther estaban diciendo al mismo tiempo, "No, Ashley es mi novia, Jose Angel.
"Bueno entonces ustedes se quedan con Ashley y mi nueva novia es Hilary Banks (Karyn Parsons), porque ella va a Ucla."

Translated, we'd debate:

"Ashley is my girlfriend."
Then Luther responded, "No, Ashley is my girlfriend, Jesse."
Then I used to say, "No, Jesse and Luther, Ashley is my girlfriend-period."
Then Jesse and Luther would tell me at the same time, "No, Ashley is my girlfriend, Jose Angel."
"Good, then you, Jesse and Luther, remain with Ashley and my new girlfriend is Hilary Banks (Karyn Parsons), because she goes to Ucla."

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ has left a remarkable heritage to America and the world. I am honored to meet his daughter along with Ms. Oprah Winfrey, Ms. Michelle Obama, Stevie Wonder, Maria Shriver, and many civic minded leaders on February 3, 2008 in front of crowd of 9,000 inside Ucla's Pauley Pavilion to shout aloud change In America Now Yes We Can! and being inspired by Tatyana Ali and other celebrities being on the valid Campaign Video.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ inspired me to run the nation's best pupil government campaign at Ucla with the promise of uniting more than 800 Ucla registered pupil groups of all backgrounds under the Campaign catchword "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country." Ucla is the only university in the world that has so much diversity and many pupil groups that recite the charm of America.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ has inspired me to keep going, regardless of my petite English and health condition, to end the War in Iraq through gentle strategies that I can learn in the U.S. troops and Pentagon and for the first time bring peace in the world. Yes it is possible to make peace in the world. As _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ did it when he prevented The Cuban Missile accident to become a nuclear war that could kill all the six billion population that we have living on Earth.

That is the many _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _'s triumph ever for America and the world. Let's all be inspired to have Bold Commitment to make peace in the world like J o h n F. K e n n e d y. I want to follow his model to leave a heritage of Life, Liberty, and The chase of Happiness for All.

Respectfully,

Language Art, Writing Test Questions

How are the Ged Language Arts, Writing Test essays scored?
Since January 2002, Ged Language Arts, Writing Test (Part Ii) essays have been scored on a 4-point holistic scale.

Two trained essay readers read each essay and score based on the overall impression. The overall impression of each paper is based on five areas:

Does the paper retort to the assigned prompt-did the candidate use the topic on the test?

Can the reader see or supervene an organized plan for development?

Are there specific and relevant details to support the paper's focus?

Are the conventions of language (grammar, usage, and mechanics) commonly followed?

Is the word selection precise, varied, and appropriate?

The two readers' scores are then averaged. If the essay receives a score of 2 or higher, the essay score is combined with the multiple-choice score to form a composite. If a candidate receives a score of 1 or 1.5 on the essay , there will be no composite score, and the candidate must retake both the essay and multiple-choice portion.

Note: Please note that private essay scores are not reported. On the composite score, the multiple-choice score results laid out 65 percent of the composite, and the essay score represents 35 percent.

Essay readers may not be more than one point apart in their scoring. In those cases where the readers are more than one point apart, the Chief Reader for the scoring site will set the score by according with the reader whose score follows the Ged Testing assistance scale.

What is the passing score for the essay?

A Ged candidate must earn a score of 2 or higher on the Language Arts, Writing Test, Part Ii essay in order to receive a composite score and derive a passing score.

A candidate needs a score of 2 or higher to earn a passing score. States may set a composite passing score (multiple-choice and essay) that is higher than the current minimum Ged passing score of 410. The composite passing score cannot be set lower than the Ged Testing assistance approved score.

If you received a score on your transcript in the range of 200-800, you would have earned at least a score of 2 (minimum passing score on the 4-point scale) on your essay.

How do Ged essay readers score papers?

Good writing needs a focus, organization, and improvement with specific and relevant examples, details, explanations, etc. You'll see these elements at the top of our scoring grid. Our readers are especially concerned with the improvement that supports a focus. They do not, however, look for specific errors in grammar, usage, and mechanics-they don't score with the same elements in mind that a classroom teacher would.

Can I find out what past topics have been on the writing test? Do I need any prior establishment for the essay?

How to Pass the Cbap Exam Using Babok and an Exam Simulator

In a short period between contracts this year I decided to take the Iiba exam to become a Certified company investigator Professional.

I am a freelance company investigator and process advisor which means I pay for my own courses. Since a period of classroom-based tutorials would leave me unavailable for fee paying work, I started finding for online training that I could use on demand. I gave myself just over a month to study for, and pass the exam.

The courses I found typically cost in excess of £1500 (00) and I questioned how much value I would get from them, bearing in mind my existing company analysis contact and knowledge. All I wanted was to recognize knowledge gaps and weaknesses so that I could focus Babok study in these areas. I decided my best selection was to get ready for the exam by combining self study of the Babok with regular testing using an online exam simulator which provided instant score feedback and knowledgeable customer support.

Study Techniques

I used mind maps, mnemonics and diagrams to help memorise Babok content. A quick google quest will bring up plentifulness of information on study techniques and I won't repeat them in this article. However, I give some examples of efficient study strategies in my blog at (details at the end of this article) and I will write a supplementary description on Babok study tips soon.

Exam Simulators

It is leading to recognise that knowledge of the Babok and unabridged contact as a company investigator is not enough to guarantee passing the exam. Success demands an comprehension of how the questions are regularly framed together with practice at choosing the right selection from four potential responses, two of which will be very similar. Some question wording is involved and it is helpful to have similarly demanding practice questions to organize your skills in answering them.

The exam is still quite new, the online version launched just two years ago, and the question set used for the actual Cbap exam is strictly protected; hence past exam papers are not available. Although there are some sample questions on the web, most of these are poor potential and are not worth searching for. Creating good practice exam questions is not easy and the suppliers of Cbap exam simulators guard their question sets as vital pieces of intellectual property. Therefore, the only way to truly get ready for the exam is by buying an exam simulator.

Your selection of exam simulator will strongly affect chances of success. I tried some and soon got test scores of colse to 90%, suggesting an easy Cbap pass, but raising suspicions in my mind about how intimately these questions sets were modelled on the real thing. Unwilling to waste money on options that left me lacking in confidence about my opening of first time success, I discarded them and ultimately found one that fitted my requirements. Using this simulator, my test scores initially started at colse to 60%. However I was now satisfied that my knowledge and exam technique were being tested effectively. I felt I was being presented with questions and respond options that accurately reflected the ones I would meet in the actual exam.

After an oppressive week of part time study, my score was back to colse to 90% and I now felt certain about passing.

On the day, I completed the test online and had rechecked my answers with half an hour to spare. As the questions in the exam simulator had been very similar to those I had just faced, I was happy to hit the return button to send my script for marking. Within a few seconds, I had an email telling me that I had passed and had been granted the Certified company analysis professional designation. So, passing the exam in just over a month can be done!

However, if you have more time or wish to refresh your familiarity with the Babok knowledge areas, then I propose that you spread your study over a more comfortable three to six months and use a recommended course provider.

6G Pipe Welding: How To Get Set Up To institution At Home (Yes, You Can)

What's the fastest path from Point A to Point B - a right line, right?

That's what they taught us in school. Why then, do schooling institutions make mazes and riddles for us to make our way through, before we can make any money? Who knows why they do that. Let me ask you this - do you know what a short cut is?

What if you just cut all the baloney away, and go for what assuredly matters?

I can't ride a unicycle, but I watched a 12 years old girl out on a sidewalk riding one of those super tall unicycles like you see a circus. She was doing Ok. It was unavoidable that she was not close to being an scholar at it, yet.

The expression on her face was of total laser-like focus. She obviously has a goal, and she knows how to accomplish it. She was not inside with a Coke with the Tv on while she reads a book about unicycle riding, mental that would make her a unicycle rider.

Pipe welding students in pipe school don't assuredly weld much of the time.

A pipe welding learner learns a lot of good stuff. Unfortunately, most of it won't be used and won't make them a dollar. The One Thing that will make that pipe learner money is getting good at the hand-eye skill of pipe welding. It is too bad, but the midpoint pipe learner won't get adequate practice in to guarantee 6G, much less to become a great pipe welder.

How can you set up at home and start practicing 6G right now?

There's extraordinary a book which has been used in most welding schools for decades. It is full of photos and illustrations. It has been through 9 or 10 editions. You need an Edition 3 or newer. Get it on Amazon or Ebay: "Welding Principals And Practices" by Larry Jeffus. Get Larry's book, read and effect the security chapter, and then read and effect the pipe welding chapter. Next, set up at home start running roots!

Does the someone who hires you to weld pipe care if you can do whatever else but weld pipe?

No - as long as you're assuredly good at welding pipe and you are certified to weld pipe, you'll be hired to weld pipe. Can it be that simple? Yes, just like when you cut over Mrs Maglar's backyard to beat your friends to the store, short cuts can work.

Just like the girl learning the unicycle, you plainly have to put yourself in a position where you can quickly originate test joints, and weld them up, over and over, until you're good at it.

Warning:

Friends, family and co-workers will think you're nuts. The "system" programs us all to be good small drones, following along the path of all the other sheep. Honing all your efforts down to a laser focus on one thing is something only inventors, rock stars, celebrated artists and celebrated actors And great pipe welders do. It will be up to you to make it through until You Own the Skill.

How to Use Mind control - The Art and convention of Controlling Minds

There has all the time been a query if mind control can unquestionably be deployed on someone. In fact there are many citizen who would love to know how to use control other people's minds. If it in fact can be used and the tactics or skills primary to unquestionably accomplish the ability. If we could use this idea do you think it would be a good thing? That is something that could go whether way. Let's discuss shall we.

One of the intriguing thing about mind control is the process of unquestionably altering a person's perception, production them do inevitable things and the like that is what fascinates us. We have seen this plan depicted In many dissimilar movies from brain washing to mutant ability. Every aspect of it effectively shows the same thing. It's the quality or gift to have complete control over someone. The things that are then done afterward are where the problems can occur.

One formula of mind control is also referred to as hypnosis. inevitable levels of hypnosis are in fact determined a form of controlling minds. This is due to the fact that the man hypnotizing has some level of control over the man being hypnotized. They can retrieve answers to questions, maybe make the private feel something, and relive some event any things that are all in a exact way mind control.

The foremost thing regarding this slightly scary plan is its use. If we aren't true about the ways in which mind control is used there could end up being seriously negative results. Brainwashing is a type or form of this that is definitely negative in its uses. If we look the other way all situations could end up like this.

As you can see there are good and bad aspects of this tool. It all depends on how it is used. Once you understand how to use mind control then that power lies in your hands.

Accounting convention - expanding the Value of Your convention

With the 2010 practice ownership transfers heat up, our upcoming postings will be addressing methods of increasing value and developing business. To start, I would like to feature some key areas a practice owner should focus on to growth the value of their practice. First though, I would like to make it clear that this is a seller's market for the sales of tax and accounting practices. However, it is ultimately buyers in your market that set the value of each individual practice. Just like the old quote "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" the value of the practice is in the eye of the buyer(s). Therefore, practice owners should take a long hard look at their practice, years in advance, to growth revenues, profitability, efficiency and value before listing the practice for sale.

Here are three steps you can take to help growth the value of your firm:

  • Implement a new firm improvement process
  • Stop discounting and selling your services on price
  • Train your staff to become more profitable

Implement a firm improvement process

High ability practices do not become thriving by accident. They are built by prudently industrialized plans to originate as much value as potential for the practice, both now and over the long-run. thriving practices produce a culture of practice development, or rainmaking.

Stop discounting and selling your services on price

Most buyers base their decision process on factors other than price. Only a small division of buyers make their decision based on price alone, and those clients will be the least loyal and most likely to move to another firm with lower rates. Furthermore, the economic factors that are creating more price pressure mean that it's more leading than ever for accountants to use a firm improvement process. There are only three things you can offer a client, quality, service and price, but you can only supply two of these. Which would you choose?

Train your staff to become more profitable

While it may seem counter-productive to take habitancy away from billable work or sales calls, the return on speculation can be valuable. At a minimum, ensure that your team understands and can avow the value of your services. Training in the firm improvement process enables your team to focus the customer's concentration away from price and onto value.

If you are serious in your desire to growth value of your practice, implement these steps and watch the potential impact to your bottom line.

Interview Question: Why Should We Hire You?

This is a coarse interview question that pops up and is one that pretty much sums up the point of a job interview in the first place.

In other words, what can you do for our company?

Essentially the firm is seeing to hire someone to solve a question or fill a need.

It can be very easy for population to forget this when they go into an interview and to focus on what the firm can do for you.

Here are some suggestions to ensure you structure the whole interview to focus on what you can do the firm and hence, why the firm should hire you:

    1. riposte the question by telling them what you can do for this firm specifically. In other words, while you want to mention some general skills that any firm would desire (ie. Strong communication skills, strong organizational skills, etc) you also want to mention specifically what you can do for this company. This means you need to understand exactly why the firm is trying to fill the position you are interviewing for and then tell the interviewer specifically what skills and caress you have to address this need. 2. Make sure you fully address the main points contained in the job record and in particular the most leading aspects of the description. Proactively refer to leading aspects of the job record and discuss specifics related to your caress that illustrates your capability to handle these tasks. 3. In strengthen of the interview, look for any press releases, interviews or articles that discuss the direction of the firm and their business. If possible during the interview, consider referring to what you read and try your best to tell how your caress and skills lend well to the direction of the firm and their business. Not only does it account for that you've done your homework for the interview, it can also be a great way to make a specific reference to what you can do for the firm that other candidates might not consider. 4. Remember to discuss relevant aspects of your background that could set you apart from other candidates for the job. If you hold a certification or specific training relevant to the position that others might not have, make sure you mention it. Don't make the mistake of assuming the interviewer knows it already even if it was contained in your resume.

All the answers you give and the questions you ask should focus on what you can do for the firm and not on what they can do for you.

Asking how much money they'll pay you is a good example of a question not to ask. The issue of money will come up at some point and it's best to let the interviewer ask about it.

Advertising - costly facts Or Vicious Manipulation?

Is advertising the extreme means to edify and help us in our everyday decision-making or is it just an excessively marvelous form of mass deception used by fellowships to persuade their prospects and customers to buy products and services they do not need? Consumers in the global hamlet are exposed to increasing whole of advertisement messages and spending for advertisements is increasing accordingly.

It will not be exaggerated if we conclude that we are 'soaked in this cultural rain of marketing communications' through Tv, press, cinema, Internet, etc. (Hackley and Kitchen, 1999). But if thirty years ago the marketing transportation tools were used generally as a product-centered tactical means, now the promotional mix, and in singular the advertising is focused on signs and semiotics. Some argue that the marketers' efforts finally are "turning the economy into symbol so that it means something to the consumer" (Williamson, cited in Anonymous, Marketing Communications, 2006: 569). One significant consequence is that many of the contemporary advertisements "are selling us ourselves" (ibid.)

The abovementioned process is influenced by the commoditisation of products and obscuring of consumer's own perceptions of the companies' offering. In order to differentiate and position their products and/or services today's businesses hire advertising which is sometimes considered not only of bad taste, but also as deliberately intrusive and manipulative. The issue of bad advertising is topical to such extent that organisations like Adbusters have embraced the tactics of subvertising - revealing the real intend behind the contemporary advertising. The Adbusters magazine editor-in-chief Kalle Lason commented on the corporate image construction transportation activities of the big companies: "We know that oil fellowships aren't precisely friendly to nature, and tobacco fellowships don't precisely care about ethics" (Arnold, 2001). On the other hand, the "ethics and communal accountability are leading determinants of such long-term gains as survival, long-term profitability, and competitiveness of the organization" (Singhapakdi, 1999). Without communications strategy that revolves colse to ethics and communal accountability the concepts of total ability and customer relationships construction become elusive. However, there could be no easy clear-cut ethics recipe of marketing communications.

Advertising - Prescious information Or Vicious Manipulation?

In order to get insights into the consumer perception about the role of advertising we have reviewed a whole of articles and conducted four in-depth interviews. A whole of investigate papers reach opposed conclusions. These vary from the ones stating that "the ethicality of a firm's behavior is an leading observation while the purchase decision" and that consumers "will reward ethical behavior by a willingness to pay higher prices for that firm's product" (Creyer and Ross Jr., 1997) to others stressing that "although consumers may express a desire to support ethical companies, and punish unethical companies, their actual purchase behaviour often remains unaffected by ethical concerns" and that "price, ability and value outweigh ethical criteria in consumer purchase behaviour" (Carrigan and Attalla, 2001). Focusing on the advertising as the most leading marketing transportation tool we have constructed and conducted an interview consisting of four themes and nine questions. The conceptual frame of this paper is built on these four themes.

Theme I. The Ethics in Advertising

The first theme comprises two first questions about the ethics in advertising in general.

I.A. How would you define the ethics in advertising?

The term ethics in enterprise involves "morality, organisational ethics and pro deontology" (Isaac, cited in Bergadaa', 2007). Every manufactures has its own guidelines for the ethical requirements. However, the significant four requirements for marketing communications are to be legal, decent, honest and truthful. Unfortunately, in a community where the course of action of the fellowships is considered by profit targets the use of marketing communications messages "may constitute a form of communal pollution through the potentially damaging and unintended effects it may have on consumer decision making" (Hackley and Kitchen, 1999).

One of the interviewed respondents stated that "the most successful fellowships do no need ethics in their activities because they have built empires." other view is that "sooner or later whoever is not ethical will face the negative consequences."

I.B. What is your perception of the point of ethics in advertising?

The second question is about the point of being moral when communicating with/to your target audiences and the way consumers/customers view it. In different investigate papers we have found quite opposing conclusions. Ethics of enterprise seems to be evaluated whether as very leading in the decision making process or as not precisely a serious factor in this process. An example of rather extreme stance is that "disaster awaits any brand that acts cynically" (Odell, 2007).

It may seem certain that the accountability should be carried by the advertiser because "his is the key accountability in retention advertising clean and decent" (Bernstein, 1951). On the other hand the companies' actions are defined by the "the canons of communal accountability and good taste" (ibid.). One of the interviewees said:

"The only responsible for giving decent advertising is the one who profits at the end. Company's profits should not be at the charge of society."

Another one stated that "our culture and the level of societal awareness decree the good and bad in advertising".

The increased point of marketing communications ethics is underscored by the need of applying more dialogical, two-way communications approaches. The "demassification technologies have the potential to facilitate dialogue", but the "monologic" attitude is still the renowned one (Botan, 1997). Arnold (2001) points out the cases of Monsanto and Esso which had to pay "a price for its [theirs] one-way communications strategy". In this train of plan we may characterize ethics in advertisements from two different perspectives as suggested by our respondents and different points of view in the reviewed papers. The first one is that it is imperative to have one base code of ethics imposed by the law. The other affirms the independence and accountability of every manufactures for setting its own standards.

Theme Ii. Which type of regulation should be the leading one in the field of advertising?

The next theme directs the attention towards the regulation ideas which should be the customary one. Widely proper plan is that both self regulation and legal controls should work in synergy. In other words the codes of practice are meant to complement the laws. However, in certain countries there are stronger legal controls over the advertising, e.g. In Scandinavia. On the other hand the industry's self regulation is favorite in the Anglo-Saxon world. Still, not everyone agrees with the laissez-faire concept.

One of our respondents said:

"I believe governments should levy stricter legal frame and harsher punishment for fellowships which do not comply with the law."

Needless to say, the communal acceptability varies from one culture/country to another. At the end of the day "good taste or bad is largely a matter of the time, the place, and the individual" (Bernstein, 1951). It would be also probably impossible to set clear-cut detailed rules in the era of Internet and interactive Tv. Therefore, both types of regulation should be applied with the extreme aim of reaching equilibrium between the sacred right of free time of choice and information and minimizing potential allembracing offence. Put differently, the goal is synchronising the "different ethical frameworks" of marketers and "others in society" in order to fill the "ethics gap" (Hunt and Vitell, 2006).

Theme Iii. Content of Advertisements.

Probably the most controversial issue in the field of marketing communications is the Content of advertisements. Nwachukwu et al. (1997) distinguish three areas of interest in terms of ethical judgment of ads: "individual autonomy, consumer sovereignty, and the nature of the product". The personel autonomy is involved with advertising to children. consumer sovereignty deals with the level of knowledge and sophistication of the target audience whereas the ads for harmful products are in the centre of communal plan for a long time. We have added two more perspectives to arrive at five questions in the conducted interviews. The first one concerns the advertisement that imply sense of guilt and praise affluence that in the most cases cannot be achieved and the second one is about advertisements stimulating desire and satisfaction through acquisition of material goods.

Iii.A. What is your attitude towards the advertisement of harmful products?

A typical example is the advertisement of cigarettes. Nowadays we cannot see slogans like "Camel Agrees with Your Throat" (Chickenhead, accessed 25th September 2007) or "Chesterfield - Packs More satisfaction - Because It's More Perfectly Packed!" (Chickenhead, accessed 25th September 2007). The general advertisement, sponsorship and other marketing communications means are already prohibited to be used by cigarette producers. Surprisingly, most of the answers of the respondents were not against the cigarettes advertisement. One of the respondents said:

"People are well informed about the consequences of smoking so it is a matter of personal choice."

As with many other contemporary products the shift in communications messages for cigarettes is oriented towards symbol and image building. The same can be said for the alcohol ads. A customary example of emotional advertising is the Absolut Vodka campaign. From Absolut Nectar, through Absolut Fantasy to Absolut World the Swedish drink precisely aims to be Absolut... Everything.

Advertising of risky products is even more harshly criticised when it is aimed at audiences with low personel autonomy, i.e. Children. Two main issues in this respect are the manipulation of cigarettes and alcohol as "the rite of passage into adulthood" and the fact that "sales of health-hazardous products (alcohol, cigarettes) organize freely without much disapproval" (Bergadaa, 2007).

Iii.B. What is your attitude towards the advertisement to children?

Children are not only customers, but also consumers, influencers and users in the house Decision-Making Unit (Dmu). Additional mystery is that they are too impressionable to be deciders in the Dmu. At the same time it is not a underground that marketers apply "the same basic strategy of trying to sell the parent through the child's insistence on the purchase" (Bernstein, 1951). It is not a surprise then that "spending on advertising for children has increased five-fold in the last ten years and two thirds of commercials while child television programs are for food products" (Bergadaa 2007). In the Us alone children characterize a direct purchases store of billion worth (McNeal cited in Bergadaa, 2007) which precisely is on the top of the agendas of many companies. While exploiting children's decision-making immaturity advertisers often go too far in dematerialising their products and "teleporting children out of the tangible and into the virtual world of brand names" (Bergadaa 2007). Teenage virtual worlds like Habbo where snack food brands run advertising campaigns are already a fact of life (Goldie, 2007). The imaginative worlds are beloved not only online. Hugely successful for creating a fantasy world is Mc Donald's. The enterprise tops the European list of kids' advertisers while more than half of the children's adverts are for junk food.

In some countries there are harsher restrictions to the children advertising.

• "Sweden and Norway do not permit any television advertising to be directed towards children under 12 and no adverts at all are allowed while children's programmes.
• Australia does not allow advertisements while programmes for pre-school children.
• Austria does not permit advertising while children's programmes, and in the Flemish region of Belgium no advertising is permitted 5 minutes before or after programmes for children.
• Sponsorship of children's programmes is not permitted in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden while in Germany and the Netherlands, although it is allowed, it is not used in practice." (McSpotlight, accessed 20th September 2007).

According to a investigate by Roberts and Pettigrew (2007) the most frequent themes in children advertising are "grazing, the denigration of core foods, exaggerated condition claims, and the implied ability of certain foods to enhance popularity, operation and mood." But the junk food is not the only fancy for parents' preoccupation. Agreeing to a study of Kaiser house Foundation (Dolliver, 2007) parents are involved about the whole of advertising of the following products (in order of importance): toys, video games, clothing, alcohol/beer, movies, etc.

The interviewed respondents were unanimous: "The advertising to children should be strictly monitored." Similar results were obtained in surveys by Rasmussen Reports and Kaiser house Foundation. Nevertheless, the legal means are just one part of the children's protection. The other part involves "the decision-making accountability of parents and teachers" which is "to help their children in developing a skeptical attitude to the information in advertising" (Bergadaa 2007). The marketers themselves should also be complicated in shaping the moral ideas of our future and "each brand should have its own deontology - a code of practice concerning children - rather than rely on manufactures codes" (Horgan, 2007).

Iii.C. Do you think there are many misleading, exaggerating and confusing advertisements. Are many ads promising things that are not potential to achieve?

It will not be exaggerated to state that advertising is in a sense "salesmanship addressed to masses of potential buyers rather than to one buyer at a time" (Bernstein, 1951). Since "salesmanship itself is persuasion" (ibid.) we cannot merely blame advertisers for pursuing their sales goals. However, in the last twenty years or so advertisers have increasingly applied semiotics in their messages and as a consequence ads have begun to function more and more as symbols. One extreme case in this stream of advertising is the creation of idealised image of a man who uses the advertised product. Bishop (2000) draws our attention to two "typical representatives of self-identity image ads" which entice consumers to scheme the respective images to themselves through use of the products:

- "The gorgeous Woman";
- "The Sexy Teenagers.

Through setting of such stereotypes advertisers not only mislead the communal and exaggerate the effects of products but also provoke low self-esteem in consumers. At the same time they promise results that in most cases are naturally impossible to achieve. Instead of promoting "'glamorous' anorexic body images" transportation messages should use "varied body types" and should drop the idea of the "impossible corporeal body images" (Bishop, 2000).

To question Iii.C one of the respondents commented:

"The customers of these products [the ones advertised through thin models] are mostly people who do not have the same corporeal characteristic. For me, this type of advertising is deliberately aimed at people to make them feel not complete, far from consuming communal outsiders."

However, other interviewed stated that: "every man has his own way of evaluating what is believable and what is misleading. Consumers are sufficient sophisticated to know what is exaggerated."

Similarly, Bishop (2000) concludes that "image ads are not false or misleading", and "whether or not they advocate false values is a matter for subjective reflection." The author argues that image ads do not interfere with our internal autonomy and if people are misled, it is because they want it. It is all about our free choice of behaviour and no advertisement can modify our desires. Perhaps, the truth lies somewhere in-between the two extreme positions.

Iii.D. What is your attitude towards advertisement that imply sense of guilt, and praise affluence that in the most cases cannot be achieved?

A more exact case of controversial advertising is the one used to "promote not so much self indulgence as self doubt"; the one that "seeks to create needs, not to fulfill them: to create new anxieties instead of allaying old ones" (Hackley and Kitchen, 1999). A response of our interviewee reads:

"It is not only a matter of advertising. It has to do with the communal inequality and the desire to possess what you can not."

Hackley and Kitchen (1999) refer to this inequity as to "when reality does not match the image of affluence and the consequent is a subjective feeling of dissonance". The issue could be elaborated Additional through the next question.

Iii.E. Are advertisements stimulating desire and satisfaction through acquisition of material goods moral?

We live in a community which is more or less marked by materialism. Advertisements are often blamed to fuel consumption which is assertedly leading to happiness. The role of promoting satisfaction through acquisition of material goods has become so leading that currently the "media products are characterised by relativism, irony, self referentiality and hedonism" (Hackley and Kitchen, 1999). Is the beloved saying "those who die with most toys win" precisely a motivator in consumers' behavior and could consumption be the cure of emotional dissonance? This seems to be the case in case, granted a brand succeeds to enter in the evoked set of consumer choices. This new "kind of materialism" goes hand in hand with "the emergence of individualism via sheer hedonism along with narcissism and selfishness" (Bergadaa 2007).

Theme Iv. Is the quantity of advertisements justified?

Iv.A. Do you think there is too much advertising?

An audit of food advertising aimed at children in Australia by Roberts and Pettigrew (2007) revealed that "28.5 hours of children's television programming sampled contained 950 advertisements." Actually, we all are being bombarded by ads on Tv, Internet, print media, etc. The whole and Content of marketing communications messages puts the consumer's information processing capacity to a test. The exposure to marketing data overload often leads to diluted consumer's selective perception. whether our responses are circumscribed by "confusion, existential despair, and loss of moral identity" or we "adapt constructively to the [communications] Leviathan and become intelligent, cynical, streetwise" (Hackley and Kitchen, 1999) is a question open to debate.

Two opposite streams of attitudes were produced in our research. One stance is involved with the undue quantity of advertisement. The other stream proclaims that "If there is an advertisement, so it is justified by a need." We agree that the communications overload may precisely have "pervasive consequent on the communal ecology of the developed world" (Hackley and Kitchen, 1999). If the increasing transportation pollution is not managed properly by both legal and manufactures points of view yet again the advertising will conduct "to hoist its foot to its own mouth and kick out a integrate of its own front teeth" (Bernstein, 1951).

Conclusion

In preparing of this paper we have used qualitative depth interviews in order to get insights for what actual customers opine. We have also substantiated our presentation with references to a whole of influential articles in the field of ethics in marketing communications. Generally, our respondents as well as varied authors have taken two opposing stances. The first one affirms that ethics in marketing communications matters considerably, whereas the other one downsizes the point of ethics, thereby stressing the role of other factors in consumer decision-making, i.e. Price, brand loyalty, convenience, etc.

Marketers should understand their "responsibility for the emerging portrait of future society" (Bergadaa 2007). Not only there is a need of legal ethical frame but also pro ethical benchmarks and deontology should be in place. One of the main challenges is to avoid creating "a happy customer in the short term", because "in the long run both consumer and community may suffer as a direct consequent of the marketer's actions in 'satisfying' the consumer" (Carrigan and Attalla, 2001).

The strength of the advertisement sway exerted on consumers is only one part of the equation. On the other hand we may affirm that consumers are not morally subservient and Agreeing to the information process models there is a natural cognitive defense. The communications tools "offer us a theatre of our own imagination" (Hackley and Kitchen, 1999). Consequently, we accept the reality in terms of our own experiences. In this sense marketers do not create reality - they are naturally a mirror of the society. We may argue that unfortunately this is not all the time the case.

Advertising is often deservedly seen as the embodiment of consumer free time and choice. Notwithstanding this leading role, when the choice is "between one candy bar and another, the newest savoury snack or sweetened morning meal cereal or fast food restaurant" (McSpotlight, accessed 20th September 2007) it represents whatever else but not an alternative and precisely not a salutary one.

The words of Bernstein (1951), said fifty-six years ago are still very much a question of present interest: "It is not true that if we 'save advertising, we save all,' but it seems reasonable to assume that if we do not save advertising, we might lose all."

Unethical company Practices

Bad press and lawsuits are things that every business owner fears. Bad press can ruin your reputation, as well as your business, and lawsuits can bankrupt you. The easiest way to avoid both of these situations is to avoid unethical business practices. There are very easy ways to avoid unethical business practices.

First, adhere to the old standby that honesty is the best policy. Be honest in all of your business dealings, either it concerns vendors, customers, or employees. This also means that you need to use honesty when reporting income and expenses, when paying employees and vendors, and when disclosing information to customers.

When you are faced with a complaint, either that complaint comes from a customer, a vendor, an employee, or the community, the complaint needs to be dealt with head on. Burying your head in the sand, and hoping that the question will go away will only serve to make the situation worse, and because you are responsible, this isn't the ethical way to handle problems. Never try to spin your own version of the truth to make the question not look as bad as it of course is. This will only damage your prestige in the long run.

When many fellowships are using unethical business practices, instead of trying to strict the problem, they try to cover it up. They will even go as far as paying loads of money on advertising and public relations to try to hide the problems at hand. Again, this is an unethical business practice, and it should be avoided. When mistakes are made, address them clearly, apologize, do better, and move on. The society as a whole will respect you a great deal more for this than they will if you do nothing, or try to hide a problem, only to be found out later.

Ethical business issues often arise that have slight to do with the workplace, but a great deal to do with the stock that is being sold. It could be that there are dangers with the stock that were only recently discovered. If you are practicing ethical business, you will apprise the public about these dangers, and depending on the extent of the danger, you may need to recall the stock - even if it means losing some money, and losing some business in the future. Recall the stock and fix the problem, and you will avoid a loss of your reputation, as well as lawsuits. When you recall a product, you get press, but because you took the proper ethical action, it isn't considered to be bad press.

Placing blame is someone else issue. When problems occur, it seems that a businesses first instinct is to look for someone to blame, instead of taking responsibility for the question themselves. Not only is this unethical, it is approximately childish in nature, and it does slight to instill trust in the public, in employees, or in vendors. If the issue arose because of a mistake that an worker made, depending on the seriousness of the problem, the worker may be fired, but it is unethical for the business to name that employee. In the public's eyes, it is the business that made a mistake, and not an employee.

Again, there are many unethical business practices that crop up in the business world on a day-to-day basis. For your single business, it is foremost to constantly monitor yourself and your employees to ensure that you are operating above board, and that unethical business practices are dealt with immediately, in the best possible way.

What Are Your Long Term vocation Goals - Job Interview examine

This open-ended question, and others like; "Where do you see yourself in five years?" throw most candidates off balance. The object of the question is to check for your self-awareness and communication skills.

Dan Harrison is the staffing manager for Wesco Corporation and is about to interview three candidates for a scheme manager position. He is seeing for someone with planning and long-range vision skills.

Phil Holmes describes his goal - "To be a Marketing manager within five years, and have a hand picked team reporting to him."

This is a very exact and narrow goal, which may not be an option at this company. The "hand picked" team demonstrates a lack of flexibility. Best to stay away from too exact a goal.

Shawna Green answers - "I have been so busy with my responsibilities and achieving company goals, that I have not focused on personal long-term goals.

While a strong work ethic is admittedly desirable, this sass does not demonstrate vision or planning.

Marsha Severson states- "I plan to return to school to earn my Mba, and have my own consulting company one day.

While it pays to be honest, this sass could turn the interview in the wrong direction very quickly. The manager is seeing for someone to stick colse to for the long run, not to stop over on the way to a new career.

Focus - Exercise

If you are the type of someone who prefers an organized way of life, you may find this question a "piece of cake". But, if you are among the majority of persons who let life happen as it comes along, you will probably not have a smooth sass without some forethought.

* What are your goals? - The best answers will come from you reasoning about what you want. Most successful company citizen will tell you that a key success factor is the ability to set and accomplish goals.

Begin by setting short-term goals. Right now your goal may be "to get a job". But, what kind of job? And, where do you go from there?

* Be employer-centered - The manager is seeing for someone to come in and solve problems. Since planning is a key factor in this job, think of examples where your planning has made a dissimilarity in results.

Scripting

After giving some understanding to where you want to go and how you can help the manager accomplish results, try scripting your sass to focus.

I have learned that long-term goals are best achieved when I break them into shorter goals. My short-term goal is to find a position that will place me in a forward-moving company with solid operation and future projections. As part of a team, I want to add value and continue to grow the company. My long-term goal will depend on where the company goes. My plan is to move into a position of responsibility where I can lead a team.

No one can tell you exactly how to sass this question - it will come from what is foremost to you. However, the more and focused and manager centered you can be about your goal, the best your chances will be of steering the interview in the right direction.
